BASIC REQUIREMENTS TO BE A
GIBSON COUNTY COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Upon employment, you MUST:

Be a United States Citizen
Be willing to reside within the jurisdiction of Gibson County
Possess a valid driver’s license from the State of Indiana
Be at least 21 years of age
Pass radio communications training at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy within the first year of employment
Pass Emergency Medical Dispatch School within two years of employment
Pass Indiana Basic Emergency Medical Technician training within the first year of employment
Have graduated high school or have obtained a G.E.D.
