The application process begins when a prospective applicant submits the appropriate documentation to the Sheriff's Department. This includes four documents: 1) Fulfillment of Basic Requirements Form, 2) Release of Liability Form #1, 3) Release of Liability Form #2 and 4) Preliminary Application Form..
These documents are provided in Microsoft Word format or PDF format and may be downloaded for your use. Click the appropriate link below for the position(s) for which you are applying. Print all pages of each document and complete in pen (do not use a typewriter). Submit the forms either in person at or by mail to the Gibson County Sheriff's Department, 112 E. Emerson St., Princeton, IN 47670.

must be notarized by a notary public.
