March 19, 2004- On Thursday, March 18, 2004 while on routine patrol Reserve Deputy Kevin McKannan arrested Shad Kirby. age 31, of Princeton for possession of precursors, theft of anhydrous ammonia, possession of marijuana, illegal storage and transport of anhydrous ammonia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of anhydrous ammonia while in possession of a firearm, and possession of a handgun without a permit.
Reserve Deputy McKannan also arrested Jeremy A. Jenkins, age 27, of Princeton for possession of precursors, theft of anhydrous, illegal storage/ transport of anhydrous ammonia, possession of anhydrous ammonia, and trespass entering property without permission.
Assisting in the investigation were sheriff deputies Debbie Borchelt, Tony Meredith, Bruce Vanoven, and John Alley. Also, assisting were Princeton officers Sgt. J.D. Clark, Sgt. Mike Hurt, Officer Brett St. Clair, Officer Steven McNeece, and Francisco Deputy Marshal Brent Wethington, and Indiana State Conservation Officer Duane Englert. Anyone with information on suspected illegal activities are encouraged to call their local law enforcement agency.
