May 18, 2004- On May 18, 2004 at approximately 6:45 AM a Ford F150 rear-ended a Chevy S-10 on US 41 at SR 168. The F150 pushed the Chevy S-10 into the northbound lanes where it was struck by a Nissan Altima and a semi truck. Medic 4 and Medic 5 were dispatched to the multiple injury accident. Fort Branch Fire was also dispatched to assist with the medic and clean up. One patient was treated at the scene for lacerations on his arm. Two others were taken to area hospitals for treatment of neck pain. Assisting in the investigation were Fort Branch Police, Haubstadt Police, Indiana State Police, and the Gibson County Sheriff Department. A completed report will be available on Wednesday.
