Who we are ...
We are a social service agency, funded by a federal grant through the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, designed to assist and support victims of crime. We work to insure that crime victims are treated with dignity and respect throughout the criminal justice process, and that the rights of victims are protected.
Gibson County's Victim Assistance Advocate is Laura Goedde.
What we do ...

- Keep you informed of the status of your case.
- Assist you in getting your property back when it is no longer
needed as evidence.
- Assist you in applying for Violent Crime Compensation if you
are a victim of a violent crime.
- Assist you in getting a Protective Order against your abuser.
- Inform you of which court your case will be sent to and who
the prosecutor is.
- Notify you of all hearings for which you may be present.
- Inform you of your rights as a victim of crime.
